This was a student project for a Photoshop class. We were to create a poster that was inspired by Art Deco and Michael L. Kungle using layer styles to create the effects. The composition was created from a drawing I did of a giant yellow Daisy. (The second image is the colored pencil drawing) I took the drawing and scanned it in and created paths in Photoshop. I used images of fall colored fabrics to fill in the petals and then applied layer styles to them to create shadows and texture.
I learned about this from the class and the Photoshop WOW book. I am grateful for this lesson because I have used it many time and find that it makes changes easy.
